Empowering Neurodivergent Entrepreneurs

The Power of an Idea

Ideas are the lifeblood of innovation. They're moments of clarity, of "pure reason," as philosophy would put it. Every modern convenience you enjoy today sprouted from someone's idea, a spark that led to invention. But what if we were told not to challenge the status quo? Phrases like "Don't reinvent the wheel" stifle progress. Yet, it's the very act of reimagining, of reinventing, that propels us forward.

What is an Idea?

We hear this word all the time. "What a good idea" or "I've had an idea"... But what does it actually mean?

The Oxford dictionary lists it as a noun meaning "A mental impression" & "An aim or purpose" but our favorite is its use in philosophy "A concept of pure reason".

Many of the things you use every single day are the result of a person having a moment of pure reason where a thing did not already exist to make a task possible or simpler and then acting on it to bring that thing into existence. This is the process humanity called "Inventing".

The Neurodivergent Potential

The world is waking up to the brilliance of the Neurodivergent community. From awe-inspiring artists to mathematical geniuses, their unique perspectives often lead to groundbreaking innovations. However, traditional funding avenues often view Neurodivergent entrepreneurs as risks. And while there's a push for workplace equality, there's little emphasis on fostering Neurodivergent entrepreneurship. This is where NeuroSapien Ltd steps in.

Don't re-invent the wheel

"To reinvent the wheel is to attempt to duplicate—most likely with inferior results—a basic method that has already previously been created or optimized by others".

This phrase is worryingly commonplace. Had it not been for people reinventing the wheel we would be in a very different place in regards to all current technology.

If people left existing ideas alone where would we be? What technology would you be using now? Reinventing the wheel is crucial for the evolution of technology and the advancement of human civilization. Innovation leads to progress and it should not be discouraged.
